Shula exceed "most" people's expectations last year. Especially knowing it was his first year as a DC.

Was his defense "perfect"? No, but what DC is?

IMO, Shula did more with less than what Morris did. Morris had multiple HOF'ers and we still only won every playoff game and SB by 3 points.

Shula took a squad full of rookies and cast offs, not one single HOF'er and almost got us to the SB even while giving up all those yards to Barkley.

Yes, Barley ran for 200 in that playoff game and if it wasn't for some fumbles and dropped passes by the offense, we win that game against the Eagles. IMO, those big runs weren't the main reason we lost that game.

Maybe some people still miss Morris and that Charmin Shell prevent defense while wasting the talent of AD and the other HOF talent? To each his own I guess. lol
