If that gets sorted early, then Lampkin could get some very serious snaps in preseason games.
Just gives us chance to see how gnarly he gets with run block, and if he sets well in pass pro against scrubs that have distinct advantages with girth.

Yes I agree Limmer is the future. Shelton was brought in to show him what the calls need to look like for him to take the role. Hope Limmer gets there quickly, because he is strong and resists being knocked back into the QB's lap.
What I would do is start Lampkin out at Guard. Limmer probably starts the season as the first iOL off the bench. So Lampkin should get a lot of looks across that interior line in preseason.
