Stafford and Tutu were fine when Kupp and Puka were out.
They were? I must have missed that part during the losing streak. In my recollection, the lack of connection caused us to overload Kyren, which also didn't work out. Nothing changed till after the bye, and Tutu's stats pretty much similar to the years he was just a back up. Stafford and Tutu have never really clicked, and trying to sell him doesn't change that. Wish him the best, but I'll believe it when I see it.
Game 1 versus Lions Puka was in.
Starting game 2-6 Tutu caught 23 passes out of 34 targets, so 68%. Which is slightly better than Stafford's average completion percentage in 2024, of 66%.
Tutu averaged 66 yards per game during that 5 game stretch.
D-Rob had 9 catches out of 19 targets for 156 yards (31 yards per game) during that same period.
Of course the offense was worse with Tutu and D-Rob than Puka and Cooper, thus the losses.
But can't put it on Tutu.
