I'll be honest, when they drafted him, I wasn't that excited. I loved the intro and the connection between him and Fiske. Then I watched some college film and he was dominant. I went to the opener in Detroit and the guy walked passed where I was. I was shocked by his size for a LB. A lot of guys in the NFL are big, but when you look big amongst those guys, you are huge. Kind of like seeing Orlando Pace early on or Big Whit when he came to the Rams. Verse was absolutely a giant. Then you combine his motor (both his legs and mouth) with his heart and desire to be great and we have something very special.
It wasn't long before I owned his jersey and wear it proudly to the games I go to. Looking for big things out of him.
