I got bad news for you. I'm a physician and there is a really chance Alaric misses the year. This is his 2nd episode. For a first episode you treat with a blood thinner 3-6 months.For a recurrent episode it usually means blood thinners indefinitely. I will admit that I don't know all the medical details of this case however.
