with some of their houses gone or going by way of fires.......add to that going against the best RB in the league by far. All things things coming as a perfect storm and they lose because they couldn't punch it in on a last drive inside the 15 . There were times during the game that would have made the last drive moot, even with the play of Barkley. Missing out on that fumbled punt deep in eagles territory could have been the points needed to do it in the end.
The D ate up the eagles pass game, the fans were scared sh$Tless.......But by even beating the eagles did not put us in a SB. Much like many said that if the titans had scored in their SB they would have won....that score would have tied it, not won it, tieing that game wasn't a sign of a sure win. Same can be said with a win against the eagles...the skins still were in line and they were a good team...beating the eagles would have meant only one sure thing, a CHANCE to be in a SB.
All that said last year can only show instances of what the RAMS can do this year, it also needs to take into consideration all the other teams and how they improve. Losing by 6 to the eagles or beating them by 2 would mean nothing in 2025, outside of showing what the team has the chance to do this season...and even that really doesn't guarantee anything.
