That made me chuckle a bit. A 4.6 dude out wide is a late rounder. This is why he's a late rounder.
But all that aside it is a great sign for him to show well early. Because the only real positions that can be somewhat evaluated in OTAs is the QB/weapon connection, and the DBs. If he has a strong OTA window then it means he's smart (picked up the playbook quickly) and instinctive, which is crucial for a receiver to show well in McVay's offense.
Only real prob with dudes like him is that they sit on the bottom of the roster and may not make as big an impact on teams plays, which is a significant part of winning and losing in this league, compared to let's say a guy who can do returns or gunner, or even who is allowed to win a job based on coverage team pursuit and discipline. Basically a dude like him you hope the effort is there all year on teams. Vs having a bottom roster type who knows his existence on that roster lives and dies on his teams production.
