Pure guess but I think as they head into 2025 with Kupp, Nacua and Whittington they will look to backfill the WR spot (higher up) in the Draft with an eye on Kupp possibly not being there in 2026. Atwell is fine as the WR4 heading into this season but I don't see him retutning. In fact, if Whittington progresses rapidly, Atwell could be a trade deadline candidate.
The Rams are in a position where the marquee Draft positions- QB, WR, LT and CB- are exactly what they should be looking at with their top 2025 selections. Long way to go but that's how I see it for now.
