Among the things Jake covered was the pressures given up by the Rams OL
There were 2
Meanwhile, the Cowboys gave up 19.
If Jake is right, and there's some question about the one sack and how that counted, the OL was beyond successful in their opening campaign with the 2s and 3s
There's no doubt that from my chair that the OL looked sharp. Like super sharp. McClendon had an outstanding rep against a defender in a crucial snap. The LT which I couldn't read the jersery # and may have of all people Acuri, also had some nice protections.
Jake also commented on last years exceedingly poor showing against the Chargers.
Which brings us to the upcoming x ball game with the aforementioned San Diego.....er......LA club.
I like this set up. Harbaugh doesn't sound pleased with his team, and he's a tough nosed guy that will impress upon his roster to up the effort.
I expect the backfield to remain the trio of Evans, Rivers, and Boston.
There were some vast openings that the group didn't quite hit on last week.
I'd like to see if they can get out there and have a more robust feel for against SD....oops again.
Did anyone find it surprising that they went with Acuri at LT?
Admit that Bruss' high rating with PFF, like top of the NFL for the xball season, was a stunner. Can he be consistent this week in blasting the 2s and 3s. Hey, knowing Harbaugh it wouldn't shock if he had his first teamers out for a series or more.
