IMO you need to look at it with a broader brush. Next year Kupp is 32 and Robinson is on a 1 year deal. You have Jordan and Puka under contract, so we may be looking at for sure 2 guys and maybe 3 with Kupp. Now if TuTu shows up and does well when called on I think he'll be cheaper to re-up then would Robinson (if Robinson) is used more this season.
TuTu may be the better contract deal and that deal could help resigning others such as Jones or maybe even Aleric to name 2. Everything is determined by performance of course.

We don’t know how many more years Kupp can play at his accustomed high level. But it’s probably just a small handful, maybe less.
Don’t know about DR, either. He’s probably a year-to-year decision.
But Puka and Whitt are very young and this Tyler Johnson kid has been impressing everybody. Plus, Snead has demonstrated the ability to draft great WR’s so why not trust him to do it again?
WR is currently very, very deep. Possibly the deepest in the league I would imagine. Not a worry for the near term for the Rams at all.
As to Atwell? He’s a ‘specialty’ WR, not a ‘complete’ WR by any means. McVay has been straining to find ways to use him for 3 years now, going on 4. Therefore, I just don’t see Rams extending Atwell after this season. Don’t mean to antagonize anyone, but that’s the way I see it.
