I like him as a player and coaches and DB's will benefit from him being in the locker room as you mention.
This is a case of a team adding strength at value and there is nothing to dislike about this move at all.
Snead can be trusted when he makes moves especially in the defensive backfield. I cant recall if the Rams have ever had anything but a good to very good backfield under his tenure. He has a knack for seeing talent there.
