Just a different time...I picked up the Rams full-time in 1973...so Elmendorf was a fixture at safety--for me--for seven years...Same thing in that Super Bowl season for Dryer, the Youngbloods, Reynolds, Brooks...McCutcheon....Nelson...Cody Jones (injured)....these guys felt like family...and when they moved it hurt for a while....
I noticed and shared the other day that Joe Noteboom is the fourth longest tenured Ram on the Roster... Havenstein (2015), Higbee (2016), Kupp (2018)....
