....is that a Detroit QB goes to LA and wins a SB, something Goff couldn't get done.
I think it's foolish for the Detroit coach to say publicly what he said.
If Cooks catches only 1 of those long balls from Goff, maybe the outcome is different? I guess we'll never know but if he did, Goff might have been SB MVP.
Also, didn't McVay sign Goff to a new contract AFTER that SB? Sounds to me like at that point McVay wasn't blaming Goff for that SB loss or he would not have done that.
Don't get me wrong. Stafford is the much better QB and he SHOULD be. He has a bit more experience that Goff does but BOTH have their flaws. I have always said Stafford can be streaky. So can Goff.
I don't regret the trade. We got a ring but to say Goff was the reason we didn't win that SB is just not fair to him. There were other factors involved as well.
And I disagree that the Detroit HC was "foolish" for saying that. What was he supposed to say? lol Did you honestly expect him to say something negative about his starting QB before the season even started? Now that, IMO, would've been "foolish".
It's the off season where all articles are filled with hope and good things about everyone and this was no different but I know you already know that.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
