L.A. 1 - Then St Louis - Now LA 2 - Always stayed with the HORNS !

As my name indicates, born in 64, Rams fan in 72. That year, my Dad took me to watch his favorite team the Eagles but the blue and white Rams dominated the game 34-3 who had a rookie QB. Ironically, after the year the Rams brought in John Hadl & traded Gabriel to the Eagles (which made me mad at the time) and brought back Harold Jackson, a RB & two 1st round picks who turned out to John Cappeletti & Dennis Harrah. As I'm sure many of you know, they then went on and traded Hadl to the Packers with his career all but down and got 1975 Packers 1st, 2nd & 3rd round picks plus a 1st & 2nd for 1976, although didn't take advantage of it by drafting Mike Fanning then trading 2nd to Dolphins who took Freddie Solomon. In '76 they took Dennis Lick with 1st pick (I know, right?) and then Pat Thomas in the 2nd round. Good draft pick haul, not much with the 5 picks though, but they did take Jackie Slater that year with their own pick in 3rd round ! That's the year they James Harris, Ron Jaworski & Pat Haden as their QB room. It was also the last year they were and blue & white and switched back to blue & yellow for new color TVs, which is reason why they went blue & white when games were televised in black & white. I have found memories of my little black & white TV with rabbit years on my desk in my room beside my lighted world globe ! I could face to my bed and watch MNF !!
