I will start by saying I don't think anyone hates him. You have to know a person before you can hate them. You can dislike him or the defense he runs at times because that's their right as a fan.
Now let me make it clear, I do not hate Morris. I'm an thankful for him helping us get a SB. At times, the defense has been lights out. No one can argue that.
But then at other times, the defense was awful. In reality, this team should have been 8-9, but defensive collapse against TB, and Seattle twice. So those losses are on him. And that's what upsets the fans.
I'll just end this by saying we could do a lot worse at DC.
There were failures by the defense last year. No doubt. And any criticism
of Morris is not hating on them.
Reasonable people can discuss the godo and the bad and everything in the middle.
But the irrationality and hijacking of threads is what makes it hard to ever get into the substance
We could get into all three of those games--and if all three were on Morris (they weren't)
but also those were on Morris (some of them).
Nuance is what is needed. Intelligence. Not blanket statements based on what
something looks like.
