Let's be honest. The odds of Morris fielding a competitive defense is slim to none. He will have his work cut out for him now that he won't have all those HOF'ers to make his job easier.
IMO, Morris owes a lot of his success here due to the large amount of talent he has had on his unit and having the luxury of our offense being pretty darn good for most of his time here.
IMO, in this case, the "talent" made the coach successful not the other way around.
Now that the talent is gone, let's see what Morris can do. Apparently McVay thought some changes were needed too or he wouldn't have fired those coaches under Morris.
I honestly don't think Morris would be our DC right now if McVay could've landed Fangio this offseason. The Colts/Morris BS stopped McVay from getting "his" guy IMO. I just don't think McVay had the stones...I mean heart (lol) to fire the guy while that whole process was developing in Indy.
Can we wait just a little bit longer before we start making more excuses for Morris? We'll have plenty of time for that later!
Is this article this guys way of predicting Morris might "struggle" this year to field a good team??? Way to step out on a limb there fella! You're a genius! lol
Morris doesn't need this dude to defend him and make excuses for him.
I am sure some won't agree with my opinion and it might even raise some blood pressures. I might even be called a "hater" and some other names too and they'll try and turn this into a "this is a just another hater" thread! lol
I wonder if the criticisms would bother Morris the same way it does some here and on other boards too? I wonder if he's happy to know he has some defenders out there too? I bet he doesn't care either way. Just as it should be.
It's people's opinions on an internet message board. Nothing more than that.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
