IMO, there is truly only about 40K true blue die hard fans that never left this team even though they left us....then there is about 20-30K new fans that jumped on the bandwagon when they moved back home which make up the 60-70K season ticket holders....the die hards will still be there for pretty much every game as long as McVay is coaching and we continue to compete, which we will..the other 20-30K will pick and choose which games they go to and make money off the Niner, Cowboy and Raider fans who are willing to pay insane money for tickets...
In these tough economic times, it will probably get worse with "fans" selling their tickets, but until the NFL or Rams figure out a way to curb it, it will continue to happen with pretty much every fan base....
btw, the Niner fans are some of the biggest band wagon fans there are in the NFL....when they sucked a few years ago, Levi Stadium was empty....
Sofi Stadium is ALWAYS going to be a destination for most fan bases to see a road game due to the climate, Disneyland, Hollywood, the beach and the newness of Sofi...we need to get used to it.
