Ramstien
The thing about trading down is that it seems like the player you wanted always gets picked one or two picks before the Rams pick. They have enough picks; I hope they just hold on to their early picks.
though. They took Pead - but could have taken Lavonte David instead. They wanted Wagner--and the Kendricks, they were not there
and it seems like Pead high a highegrade than david
So, was that a trade down failure? Or a scouting department failure--there was a great player there
why didn't they pull the trigger?
So, you can put that responsibility on Snead, the bucks stops with him---but
it's not like Pead was a bum at the time...he was not a mature kid-was homesick
and never adjusted to NFL and maybe tons we don't know.
But it they had taken for a "need" (David) rather than BPA (Pead)
the trade down would have been a good idea.
As it was, it was a poor decision---but it could have been good. Football
drafting like football itself is a game of inches.
