Ideally we could trade down to the mid 40s and pick up a comp 3rd that someone wants to deal.
Then pick a top 50 player ...
Then trade down again and pick up a late or comp 4th.
That would be ideal. Those would be guys that would come in and compete for starting jobs on defense and playing time on offense.
Of the top 25 ... I keep getting the feeling that Quentin Johnston is Slipping. There are so many high floor guys in this draft that his risk might be seen as a luxury.
Jahmyr Gibbs ... because of achane and spears. Similar backs.
Top OCs ... because there's no sure fire top guy.
What I see is a draft that's looking great at CB and TE ... Edge, there's no elite guys. OT is sparse.
So people are going to rush to take premium positions... QB, OT, CB, EDGE ... top WR ... then the rest will be a jumbled mess. I think there will be tons of trades. There could also be 6 QBs taken.
Brian Branch? Kind of luxury to take a slot CB/S in the first.
Could Kancey slide because he's undersized?
Will they really go ham on the TE position?
Will they reach for WRs?
I'll have a better idea when I look at my lists.
