that we will be needing WRs so taking one high is good idea.
I like the BPA policy, within reason---meaning if at 36 the best player
is a running back, no way to should he take him.
But if it's someone who has a high 1st round grade and is not
a hihg priority, not as much as others, then yeah, take him.
But also you have to look at supply and demand
It seems like the demand for edge rushers will deplete
the supply pretty fast, so #36 is where there is a sweet spot
guys whoth 1st round grades may fall.
69 and 77--well, there are more of no man's land.
Maybe too low for elite center, but maybe--
maybe too low for elite CB
so, seems like BPA for #69
for CB, IOL, maybe WR and if Hooker is there
and they think he'll be a SB-winning talent, then
that has to be a consideration.
But if we trade down to mid-40s and get a 4th rounder
we get an extra player, probably lose super elite edge
but could get super-solid CB or IOL, but would
there then be a good edge at 69?
This is going to take a couple of years and will have
to hit on all three top picks and if we can get an extra
4th, that will help. As for the rest? hope they hit on the
average which is maybe 30-40% or something
Then next year, a 1-2-3 and they have to hit .
