1 for Stafford and one for AR. So who is better? lol
The difference is that AR had the luxury of playing for a winning franchise unlike Stafford who played in purgatory his whole career. When Stafford finally had a good HC and talent around him look what he did!
Stafford played way better in '21 that AR has in many years...and it's no even close.
I think Stafford makes the HOF and doesn't get the credit he deserves due to playing in Detroit. If Stafford doesn't make the HOF, that will be why.
IMO, Stafford is just as good as AR and isn't a PIA Diva too. Screw AR and the "darkness" he crawled out of!
i think you're spot on dude.
start with 1 ring a piece. sb appearances, 1 a piece
~ given staffords tenure with detroit, i'd give the advantage to stafford since green bay was a perennial playoff contestant during rogers run while detroit just couldn't put the other players or coaches around stafford not giving him as many chances.
regular season receiving yards per year played : rodgers 3,281, stafford 3,720 ~ clear advantage to stafford
regular season touchdowns per year played : rodgers 26, stafford 24 ~ advantage slightly to rodgers. marginal.
what rodgers has going for him is he's played for a storied franchise and waited his turn behind a hof qb who played for a storied franchise.
but by the numbers, i think stafford's career is every bit as good as rodgers to qualify him for the HOF.
i just hope the HOF voters that count are rationale , data based and unbiased.
