Wagner played 1080. 64 per game. Most on the team.
Jones played 723. An average of 43 per game.
So if the plan is to elevate Jones role, which is fine, they still need another ILB that can play significant snaps. Even if they adjust the defense somewhat and utilize a safety more.
I really dont see Rozeboom or anyone else on the roster as that guy. Doesnt mean they cant fill it though. Who knows who is coming loose in the weeks ahead and how the Draft shakes out.
But I agree that the general idea that having two good ILB, which they had in 2022, is sort of mute if you cannot rush the passer well. That remains job one defensively to address for this team. With our without Ramsey.
