I'll admit I a huge fan of Wagner's but wasn't sure the product on the field was impactful.
His presence wasn't masterful early on, but as the season progressed he emerged as a stalwart companion. Truly, at times, the guy was the only thing going right for the defense.
Also,didn't he have an ankle thing early on?
All that said, they adjusted their design to get him in the mix. I don't know that it always worked to get the right personnel on the field.
Yeah, the money factor is the key in this one, but I do think that the front office isn't freaking by moving on. In the big picture, they've got horses to put in there at the spot.
