And IIRC, Seattle cut Wagner and went 9-8 making the postseason!! Seattle-cut-him-and-WON!! Tell me the Rams shouldn't do much better than that!!!
And that "mutual parting of ways becausenhe wants to win", IMO, is probably BS. That was a 'nice' move by the Rams to make it look better for Wagner.
agree, this is nothing more than a player who didn't agree to a pay cut, so they just cut the player....simple as that.
I liked him, but lets face it, he wasn't a factor in the pass rush and couldn't cover the slowest player on the field in coverage....he was a run stuff specialist and that just wasn't worth the money especially considering the defense wasn't exactly great.
