I find it odd that everyone has allowed themselves to believe that we were bad because of injuries.
Yes there were CB and O'line injuries right from the start and Van Jefferson being out longer than anticipated did not help.
But Noteboom played for 5 games.
Kupp, Robinson, Higby, Akers, Henderson, Donald, Ramsey, Floyd, Stafford.... the whole gang was active.
And we were 2-3. Undisciplined. Unprepared. Out of sync.
It was bad.
It was an injury plagued season, and we played a few top tier D'lines early, so getting to 3-3 was actually not the worst position... but it just appeared the team was mailing it in every week.
Hangover? I guess. Hollywood? A little.
They've gone soft. Need some toughness. Need some tough coaches. McVay is off doing commercials half the time. They need to re-focus.
