Nolan Cromwell was one of the best pure athletes ever to play for the Rams. Some of his moves on the field - I remember one twist-inthe-air leap on my family's black-and-white TV set - were incredible, impossible almost. One of his Rams teammates - I forget who - said of his athletecism that he could play quarterback if he had to.
