These are not the days of the 40s and 50s when the Bears had Ed Sprinkle. and that was it. Every team has their share of Ed Sprinkles. It's a big $$$ business and if you can win you will by any means -our precious Rams are no exception. The only difference is that we have fewer Ed Sprinkles than other teams including the 49ers. It's really not a game for nice folks out there on the field. If you are an NFL player you know that the opposing players intend on hurting you and continue hurting you. But alas-we-including me-continue to watch it-because it's exciting. And excitement is addictive Just think about that "basic" commercial.
Not every team is out twisting legs, spearing down players, hitting other players out of bounds, or body slamming guys who are pushing each other around. Sorry, but I very much disagree with you. The 9ers play dirty, and I don't say that just because I don't like them. It was clear as the blue sky yesterday, and guess what? The refs agreed with me. That was an undisciplined collapse by their defense yesterday, but very indicative of their "style" of football. You can do the "whataboutism" dance all you want, but I'm not playing that. Jalen and AD are nowhere near that style of play. Neither were the other defenses yesterday. Sure, it's a rough sport. That doesn't mean it's a dirty sport.
