In 1984, ED, my favorite Ram player ever had 6 consecutive 100 yard games. Akers isn't setting some team mark if he passes TG30's mark of four. It's great that Akers finished strong. The blocking was better and so was he.
ED was a 2K back. 2105 was his record in 16 games. He averaged 5.6 YPC. Nobody has broken it. Need to have some reverence for the past. And another thing, can Akers share the position? The cut Hendu. Was that die to Akers? They barely played KW. Is it due to Akers? And if we draft a power back what will that do to Akers? We have bigger fish to fry so I guess we can talk ourselves into trusting this guy with all the carries next season. I'm a sceptic. Show me.
