They tanked (allegedly) in order to get a franchise QB in 2020. They selected Tua instead of Herbert.
After 2 injury-plaugued seasons, the organization undermines Tua by failing to get him weapons and openly discussing trading him for DeShaun Watson.
Finally, Tua begins to experience some success this season after the team gets a new HC and spends big money in free agency.
But then the concussions.
2023 will be season 4 for Tua and it's difficult for me to see the Dolphins opting in for the 5th considering his injury history.
They'll be back to tanking for Caleb Williams while Watson will have knocked off the rust in his return to football.
Don't know too much about their organization so this just looks like bad luck to me.
