I was thrilled when the Rams signed you and figured it would be a huge factor in the running game hitting its stride. It was no suprise that you and my current favorite Rams player Steven Jackson hit it off.
To me the traditional FB is a must have position, and a top FB can provide an O with so many different options and little things that go un-noticed. What were your favorite parts of playing FB?
In your opinion why is the FB position being phased out? And what makes a top fb in todays game? Why arent more teams using them and developing them?
It would seem to me that a top notch FB could make almost as much of a difference in different ways then a top TE can...what is your opinion on that?
