Blood, as a huge fan I really think the broken leg was kind of the reason you got snubbed every year. Many folks were not aware of your incredible accomplishments, all they remembered was "the broken leg". It really was mind boggling to me to see you get snubbed year after year for lesser deserving players. I know you took the high road every year on the issue because that is the kind of person you are. I think the best compliment I ever read that really summed it up for me was when John Madden said "if an alien landed on Earth and asked me to show him an NFL football player I would introduce him to Jack Youngblood".
