Jack Youngblood Chat

2001 NFL Hall Of Fame Inductee #85 Jack Youngblood - “I don't consider myself tough, I consider myself a nut for some of the things I did. I wasn’t the biggest guy, I certainly wasn’t the strongest and I wasn’t the fastest either. But I think one of my biggest assets was that I had an undeniable determination to be the best that has ever put his hand on the ground, I had a genuine desire to be great.” #85 - 201 consecutive games played. Most career sacks in the playoffs for the RAMS. Most Playoff Starts. 2nd most Career Sacks. 2nd most Blocked Kicks. NFL All Pro 5 times - ALL NFL 7 times. 7 Pro Bowls. 2001 Inductee in the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. #85 - The guy who played in the Super Bowl with a broken fibula. Less remembered… he played the entire 1979 playoffs with the broken fibula… THEN… a week after the Super Bowl, still with a broken leg - played in the 1980 Pro Bowl. #85 - Perhaps the most loved Ram of all time - Jack Youngblood
