You might think its weird to have geckos running around freely inside your house, but honestly I've seen them less than 10 times in 30 years. I don't kill them because I'd rather have geckos in the house over spiders, scorpions and roaches.. I have never seen a roach in my house lol... Unfortunately either Torrie or Lucie (my former Beagles) found one and mangled him and left him to die.. The Beagles "William Wallace'd" him - pulled his guts out and removed an arm and his tail.. I had to put him out of his misery, which I hated doing.. I think I've mentioned here I was supposed to get 4 stents, but he couldn't do the 4th for fear of my heart going into shock.. He did tell me I'll probably have a heart attack, but its a small artery that went un-stented, so I should survive.. I did just do really well on a cardiac stress test on a treadmill, so at least I've got that going for me.. As for UCSF..... they have been amazing. I can't speak highly enough of the entire team. I do, however, have to have my daughter go with me because most of them have such heavy accents I can't understand a word they are saying. :laughing.

Tuesday I'll be there to meet with 3 of the surgeons who will do the surgery...it's a 'team', mostly because it involves teeth implants. They are so 'specialized' it's amazing. A different doctor/surgeon for every single little thing...which is why my daughters decided on UCSF after some exhaustive research.

And thanks, Greg.... I've actually surprised myself since this all began by staying very positive about it all. I'm doing well.
