There's a series of videos on Youtube of him. The poor guy looks like a mechanical puppet singing not even close to the lyrics. I have read comments that he is being forced to perform?? I doubt that. But either way, it's painful to watch such a legend in such a way. Younger people, like Milli Vanilli, it was comical. several years ago , he was playing here at the lakes , it was suppose to be an outdoor concert , but we had sever thunderstorms rolling through the area that night

so they moved the concert indoor , to what was once an old skating rink , built like back in the 1920s

so after the thunderstorms had rolled through ,no A/C it was sooooooooooo hot , and soooooooooo humid , and there was no breeze , and they had us crammed in there like sardines , could hardly breath , alot of people just had to go outside and listen to it

But as for music... I've played music my entire life and I have never met a single musician who didn't love making music until they physically couldn't - - and even then they never gave up hope that somehow they'd recover their health so they could play.

Two years ago my band stopped playing.... first time in over 60 years I was not 'regularly' playing in a band. And we didn't actually 'disband'... should something big come up we'd load the gear and show up - - - but the last time I officially played was.... ummmm, two years ago? I mean in a band. At home?

I've never stopped playing and never will. Even if it's just a pad and a hi-hat I doubt if more than a few days go by where I don't play at all. I have a practice drum pad in my bed. Oh man does my wife love that. :laughing

Drums ARE the most annoying musicians, people actually... because we never stop beating on stuff. Everywhere you look there are groups who's members are all in the 70s or 80s still performing even though they sound like crap now. Some real legends are even lip syncing now.
