Now do you mind if I be a 'papa' here? :laughing Ashton played QB in HS... moved to RB in college... his 'true' position, no doubt. BUT... the kid can play QB. Passing in college he was 2 for 2 and 2 TD's. :laughing Had he played QB in college... "papas opinion"... we win State Championship. BUT... he's only 5' 9" and not a chance in hell he was going to get any chance at QB whatsoever. Problem is: his talent does not translate to college. A QB is a QB... a RB is a RB... and there is no mix no matter how athletic you are. So his arm, his special team work, goes for naught in recruiting. Indiana St. is also another school close to us & I'd think that's something that might work, I know allot of local players have played there.

Calfornia, believe it or not, I do not think has even one DII college... the last dropped their program a couple of years ago? NAIA is an option BUT... they don't offer scholarships.

The problem is stats... the J.C. he played for platooned their RB's so NONE of them had impressive numbers even though we went far into the state playoffs.
