Never tried the Safeway & Amazon thing.

But being retired grocery shopping is sometimes the highlight of my week. I don't mind doing it at all. Plus I get to pick out the snacks I want lol

My youngest does it all the time, but sometimes has been burnt on substitutes.

Sometimes you can't tell that is an issue with a product even if you there in person and to get a refund you'd have to drive back to the store. An example once I ordered some fresh sliced fruit, a container of Strawberries and Pineapple (btw amazing combo if you've never had it). Turned out the Pineapple was all core, you couldn't even stick a fork in it, was so hard my garbage disposal struggled with it. It was a little pricey so I was happy to be able to get a refund with just a couple clicks.

I use Amazon Fresh and Safeway. Safeway has a bigger selection but Fresh is cheaper and I'm not sue how they do this but when you put an item in your cart you will always get that item. I don't want anyone doing my grocery shopping for me, not even my husband! I'm not an expert shopper, coupon saver or anything like that. I just know what I like, what looks good to me, what's acceptable to ME and what isn't. No one else is gonna know that. I don't want to be in a grocery store all day, but I don't want to shop for groceries when I'm in a hurry either. Sometimes I see things NOT on my list that are on sale... they're a good bargain to buy now and put in my freezer... or maybe I saw a commercial for an item I've never tried and seeing it myself... I'm gonna buy it to try it. As long as I'm mobile, have most of my faculties, can manage my own checking account, still have my driver's license and a car... I'll shop for myself.
