Joy. I'm hearing Disney / Kathleen Kennedy have screwed up Indiana Jones also. Saw a couple of early online reviews by fan sites and not critics that it's grim and something's missing. I guess if you can sink Star Wars quicker than the Titanic, Indy should be a breeze. I still wanna go see it. Can it POSSIBLY be WORSE than the Crystal Skull??? Disney USED to be AWESOME at putting out movie CLASSICS! Lot's of original ideas. Now?? Not so much. How......HOW does a company get handed the keys to Lucas Films and screw it up so ROYALLY?????? For crying out loud.... Disney even had Mark Hamil face palming (He was VERY dignified on how he handled it). They had Hamil, Fisher AND Ford on board and had the Actors sighing at the writing and maybe THE largest fan base of any movie franchise PISSED.

I know good writers still exist because as bad as film has been there has been a ton of really good TV shows over the last 10 years. I think the difference is TV shows have to be good or they get canceled. Even a bad film if marketed right can bring in enough money over the first two weeks to turn a profit.

On a side note, I always use to be disappointed that Cary Grant retired from acting when he was 60, especially since I though many of his last films were some of his best.
