YUP!! That was Episode 1 in Season 2- "Welcome Back, Carter". It was a super hot summer day and the air conditioning in the hospital wasn't working. There were repairmen working around the hospital trying to get the air conditioning fixed and they were in the ceiling in one of the trauma rooms when a patient was brought in by his brother. The guy had fallen out of a boat, wasn't conscious or breathing. Dr. Susan Lewis was trying unsuccessfully to use the paddles to get his heart going and the nurses were fussing at the air conditioning repairman in the ceiling to get out of there. Suddenly the repairman drops through the ceiling along with plaster, ceiling tiles, splintered lumber, etc. He fell on top of the patient they were trying to resuscitate and when he did, the heart monitor started going and the nurse says, "Well, we've got a beep!". It happened like in the last minute or so of the Battlehawks game in week 3. It had been chippy all game long but towards the end there tempers were flaring pretty bad and one of the BH players threw a helmet, I think another BH player was throwing punches at the other team's players. And one of the BH coaches even got aggressive and was in on the melee. It was ugly. We look forward every year to faithfully watching all 163 games of St Louis Cardinals baseball on Bally Sports Midwest network (the old Fox Sports Midwest). Spring Training is in session right now and the Home opener is just around the corner on March 31. But we're not sure if any regional games will be televised at all because Bally Sports is going bankrupt and there are no Cardinals games shown on on any broadcast schedules after March 25. Not sure what we'll do without televised Cardinals baseball. [cordcuttersnews.com]

Even though this is week 4 in the XFL, the St Louis Battlehawks' first home game is tomorrow afternoon. The Battlehawks will play at The Dome (where the Rams used to play) and expected attendance is supposed to be close to 40,000. Now that may not sound like a lot of people compared to NFL stadium crowds, but for the XFL.... it's outstanding. I'm pretty sure it will be the largest attendance at an XFL game so far this season since the average attendance at an XFL game has been somewhere around 14,000. The Dome has opened up additional seating areas 2 or 3 times in the past week because of fan demand for tickets. People have been very supportive of the team.
