If CB Jermod McCoy is the pick at #13, who are you taking at #29?

Tough call.

I Think I`ll go with WR Omar Cooper, Jr.

Hard to say because someone always slips.

WR. Only one worth a 1st (that would maybe be there) in my opinion is Boston. Brazzell is interesting too as another red zone/contested catch dude, but only if McVay has a legit plan for him. Bell would be an option, but he is only 3 month removed from a torn ACL so hard to say.

DB. Chris Johnson is my favorite CB outside the top 3. Theineman and McNeill-Warren are both studs, although I think its unlikely we take any Safety before the 3rd not named Downs.

Ya, I am afraid Boston will prob be gone but watching more film on Brazzell - he gets great separation in his routes! Extremely fast and athletic for his size with an 80" wingspan for an incredible catch radius. I think he, Johnson, Theineman and McNeill-Warren would both be a steal at 29! And I bet at least one of them will be there! A great place to be picking from in this draft!

I'm partial to Michigan's Derrick Moore.

I have been on the Indiana WRs for a long while now, and Cooper Jr just seems like a Ram. Don't let the fact that he was almost exclusively a slot this year, he was outside last year. So inside/outside versatility, explosiveness to stretch the field, a dense frame making him hard to bring down after the catch and works all 3 levels.

Fields is a supersized X that the Rams have been seemingly looking to find for a while now. He is a contested catch machine with vice grips for hands. His production was limited at Virginia due to QB play and at ND by the run heavy scheme. His best football is ahead of him IMO.

McNeil-Warren is probably SAF 2 or 3 and a guy I finally got to see at the Senior Bowl. He did not disappoint. Think about this: Since 2015, only a handful of FBS safeties have posted a season with both a coverage grade above 88.0 and a run defense grade above 90.0, while also generating pressure on more than a third of their pass-rush snaps. That exclusive club includes Derwin James - and now, McNeil-Warren. He's an absolute chess piece that Shula could have a lot of fun with. The dropoff from Downs to him is not that bad. I seriously doubt he gets as far as 29.

I'd take EMW then Cooper Jr. then Fields in that order.

A buddy of mine told me back in July that McNeil-Warren would be a 1st round pick. I didn`t believe him, but you are confirming that he might be right lol. It would just have to be to a specific fit team that knows exactly how they intend to use him. He also may not run that fast. Thieneman will put up better combine numbers and may be the 2nd safety drafted.

What I like about McNeil-Warren is his physicality. Big hitter and peanut puncher who had 9 career forced fumbles. Rams definitely need more physicality on defense. I think he will be there at #29, but I doubt the Rams go that route, especially if they take a CB like McCoy at #13,

There are about five or so Edges I really like in that late 1st Round to early 2nd Round range so getting my choice of the one I prefer there would be valuable. Thomas is not the ideal size or frame, but he would plug in blind side on pass downs day one and allow us to play Verse strong side. His rush traits are real.

Secondary choice if he is gone is Lee Hunter. I think we need another iDL. Keep feeding that front.

I'd double down and take best available CB, preferably Chris Johnson outta SDSU.

Then hopefully snag WR Saratt with pick #3.

Personally I see Sarratt gone by the Rams pick at #61, but you never know.

My problem with waiting until the end if round 2 to take a WR is who will be left for the pickings? Is there a good enough WR to take there or is there better value at another position, and possibly a position of need?

WR`s at #61? Germie Bernard, Jakobi Lane, Deion Burks, Antonio Williams, Chris Bell, etc..

I really have a feeling that Georgia State WR Ted Hurst is going to make an impact on the next level, and LA would be a great fit for him. I just don`t see where to draft him. I really don`t think he makes it out of day 2, even though i see a lot of people having him as a 4th-5th rounder. I highly doubt he gets out of round 3.
