I think in the Eagles game that Williams was called down by contact rather than forward progress stopped.

I heard the ref announce it

McVay attempted to challenge it but they said it wasn’t challengeable play

My issue is last year in LA in that Philly game … Kyren fumbled but on the field the refs ruled that his forward progress was ruled stopped. The ref announced it on the field. Philly challenged the ruling and it was overturned

What was the difference that the Eagles could challenge there but the Rams weren’t able to challenge on Thursday?

They have some things to fix for sure but we have seen them in much worst spots 1-4 2024 and 3-6 in 2023. They have got to figure out how to beat the conferences top teams Philly GB Detroit SF - They seem to handle Tampa Sea … we don’t know about Washington

They have been right there to beat all of them. Look at the games against every single one of those opponents the Rams offense either had them in position to win the game outright or close them out… and they didn’t

They have work to do for sure. They can start by stop having kicks blocked and scoringTDs when getting near the opposing teams end zone

I mean I am just sick with that Kyren fumble going in and them not being able to a winning td after the big play to Tutu

I didn't understand it either. They let an RB push, push, push in a scrum until they are down or it's obvious they can go no further. But on a kick return, he's down as soon as he is met? He was still up and pushing for yards when they blew the whistle.

The explanation from the broadcast referee was so silly.

To paraphrase, if the ball came out the same time as the hit, then it’s reviewable. But since forward progress “stopped” and whistle was blown, too bad.

Seems arbitrary to me. If we can get it right, let’s get it right.

Especially since these games are so important, like you said.

With today’s technology I think a hard look at some of these ‘non-reviewable’ rules would be a good idea. In this instance it was a question of possession in a game that ultimately went to overtime.

And that game would determine the division leader.

Doesn’t get a helluva lot more important than that, does it?

we were one play away from winning this game. I was sick over Kyren's fumble (like everyone) at the goal line but he was a big part of the offense last night scoring 2 touchdowns. he is still our best RB. Hopefully this is a wake up call for him the rest of this season. We are 3-2 and i still feel like we can have a special year. Sometimes a game like this can bring focus and motivation to a team. let's hope it does for our Rams! we are not done!!!

Yes the Niners had a short week too, But weren't coming off the emotional roller coaster we were.

10-day rest. We're beating the wrong teams. We're beating the AFC teams and losing to the NFC teams....
