I'm sure an unpopular take.. But I'm not sure a 37yo Stafford is better than Jimmy G right now. Yes, I want Stafford there at the end as he has the "it" factor, whereas Jimmy G is more like Goff, productive, but missing the "it" factor...

But Stafford showed his age last year. Was really slow out the gates every game. Going thru the motions for much of the season. The defensive line was carrying us. There was a point where we all questioned Stafford. But we forgot because we made a run at the end.

We are trying to squeeze 1 or 2 more good years out of him.

I'm not saying I want Jimmy G over Stafford, I'm saying Stafford can't win the SB without Puka. That is his and McVays Blankey and also, he is a beast.

I think Jimmy G COULD win the SB with Puka and Davante.

Jimmy G had more passing yards in one game after sitting the entire year than Stafford had in 18 games. He can run McVays system.

Again, I believe Puka is the key piece. Without him, neither QB can do much.

You don't want to see us try to win with Davante, Whittington and Tutu. It would not be pretty. And yes, we need Davante as well, because Puka, Whittington and Tutu is also not getting you to the SB.

But Puka is the key component, aka the MVP.

Stafford is definitely Rams MVP.

It all revolves around Stafford, not Puka, not Adams, not Kyren or even Tutu! We only go as far as Stafford can take us. Yes, Jimmy G can win us some games too but imo, Stafford>Jimmy G by a LOT.

Having said that, I can see Adams doing just as well as Puka will and that's not a bad thing. Take away Puka? Stafford to Adams! Take away Adams? Stafford to Puka!

Puka and Adams together I think are unlike any other duo in the league.. no matter how tall or fast the others might be. These two can do anything and everything at a high level. They are both physical. They are gamers. They rise up when things get toughest. They, I think, are better in some ways, at the very least the equal, of our WR starting duo in our Superbowl winning year.

But on O, it still all depends on Stafford. After that probably Kyren Williams. Either of those 2 go down for long, we're in big trouble. Puka could go down for 4 - 6 weeks, and I think we could weather it since we have such a great and dominant WR in Adams. Come playoff time, they must have them both, for sure.

Don't get me wrong. Perhaps Corum or Hunter might emerge to challenge Kyren. But, Garropollo is what he is.... good, steady, but not in Stafford's class.
