But from that we learn that the Rams will sometimes try to trade up with the understanding that they will likely be shot down. Much like me when I was talking to a blonde who was out of my league at a bar in 1996. Nonetheless, I like that strategy because there’s no harm in trying and if they succeed then good for them.

I do think the Rams really like Ferguson and I think the tape doesn’t lie. But would they have gone with someone else and also been happy? I mean it was said they tried to get Gillotte but seemed genuinely happy to get Stewart. But I think it’s most plausible that Ferguson was their guy. Would have been some sprained eyebrows if he was drafted at 26.

No matter what I am stoked about the picks and can’t wait to see them on the field. Everyone assumes it was Warren or the other TE, and then when McVay says Ferguson was the TE he wanted, some say McVay isn't telling the truth.

They might have wanted to trade up for a WR, or Jeanty or who knows? The Rams are always full of surprises because they don't have the stock NFL view of what they want in the way of players.

If you just watch the video of when the Rams took Ferguson there was joy like when Verse dropped into their laps. Was that fake, for the cameras? I think you'd have to say it was if you don't believe him.

I do think Ferguson was McVay's target at TE, even if defies what fans and media think the top guys were. Ok so a few questions... First would be WHY? I mean I think that warrants a discussion. What would that have meant to the offense? Would they have still taken Ferguson if available with their next pick... whenever it was. Were they thinking a Calvin Johnson-type for Stafford? What was the thought process? How were they going to use him? How much does he play this season?

Instead we got a mere mention and then into soda flavors. Great interview and Jourdan is wonderful but I just wish they could have talked about the potential trade up. And was Jordan sure of was that smokescreen and they really wanted Warren? 3) Rams are serious about re-acquiring Ramsey. But, only within certain parameters. They are not going to give up big draft stock nor will they pay the full contract number.
4) The Rams are pretty satisfied with their Secondary and depth. But, a Ramsey of course would be an A+ addition.
5) Rams are very clear about what a "Ram" is. And they see Kyren as the epitome of it.
6) Both sides want Kyren to return, so it will probably happen, but a deal won't happen until Training Camp when the Rams can get a read on Corum and Hunter.
7) Jourdan thinks they have found a stud in Mumpfield. Physical, really skilled in the nuances of playing WR. Even so, it is going to be very hard for him to get any reps during the season because the guys ahead of him are just too good.
8) Says Tutu looks really great (as usual).
9) Says Whittington is the real deal who can play every WR position, and even play FB or RB.
10) Her biggest concern is OT (as is mine). Starters are fine, but depth is questionable, which is why they brought in Quisinberry.
