Bud (Ram4life) had emailed me a couple of days ago that he had been admitted to the hospital from a reaction to one of his meds for his cancer treatment.. His daughter, Autumn, emailed me around 9pm last night to let me know he had slipped into a coma in the hospital.. She emailed me again around 2:25am that he had passed away at 1:56am eastern time this morning.. Autumn said her dad, Bud, previously made her promise to let me know his condition, if things went bad, so that I could let the HERD know.. It saddens me to let you all know, now.. Bud was a really good guy that was going through a lot.. I had gotten to know him better through pms and email and found him to be a very cool guy and will miss his friendship... But this isn't about me. I want Ram4Life's family to know... that the people who have commented are just the tip of the iceberg.There are hundreds of us who know and respect Ram4Life here that just feel like they don't know what to say. And even when he passed, I didn't say anything despite my heart dropping and getting tears in my eyes.

He was important to us. His contributions and personality made the board better. I rarely post so I don't have interactions with a lot of fans here. But I am still part of the Herd and I follow what is said. I bet for every 1 person who has commented here, there are another 10 or 20 who have remained silent, like me. I wish I had said something earlier and now it's too late. But I think the family should know he was a big part of a large, close community and his presence here will be greatly missed.

I've never met Ram4life and it pains me that we'll never get to read another post from him again.
