Not sure what that means on the D for the back of the roster players. But, I imagine that 2nd year guys that had a good camp are going to get the nod over rookies.

The question is who they'll try to resign to the PS as RB4.

I suspect the number on the PS will be 2, maybe 3 but I doubt it. 1. I checked back to last year and the Rams had Williams, Corum and Hunter as the 3 RBs on the active roster and Ronnie Rivers on the practice squad until November. So, just because Rivers is not playing doesn't mean he is going to make the final 53 I think.

2. This of course means that it could be possible that Hunter, Waters and Connors (not necessarily in that order) are trying out for the #3 RB spot. I think McVay is completely aware of what Rivers brings to the table.

3. So far, between Hunter, Waters and Connors by what I've seen in the first 6 quarters of play, I'd go with Connors, then Waters, then Hunter. If it were only the last 3 quarters, then maybe Hunter first and then the other two.

4. They tried Connors at KR against the Saints. But, he only got the one chance because the Saints never kicked off again because they didn't score any points!! During his one chance I thought he was OK, no lanes to run through because coverage was pretty good.

5. Then, it seems that Connors got dinged, so the Rams probably just held him out.

6. As far as Hunter goes, yes he had 3 good quarters, but he also had 6 bad quarters. Until the last 3 quarters his vision was poor in my opinion, and I thought that he really only had one gear. Then suddenly he looked much better, I don't why or how.

So, I would not be surprised if Rivers is placed on the PS and the Rams keep one of the 3 guys above. Especially if one of them can return KOs effectively or play on special teams in general well. I get it.

We all want to find the next "out of nowhere" star.

We've had quite a few under the McVay/Snead regime: Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams, Quentin Lake... all guys who were drafted on Day 3 and have become big time players for the Rams. And, of course, there's always the dream of the undrafted gem: Kurt Warner, London Fletcher or... more recently, Alaric Jackson.

But, for every one of those diamonds in the rough, there are many more Nelson Spruces... guys who flash and excite the imagination, only to become afterthoughts in the Fall.

In 2026, the likelihood of an August star being more than a Spruce is pretty remote. All of our starters (and key rotation players) on offense (barring a suspension) from last year are back, and likely to start again (with the possible exception of Terrance Ferguson elevating to a starting role at TE).

On defense, we've upgraded through trades at EDGE and both starting CB spots. Apart from that, we are again expected to return our starters from last year.

So, yeah... it's fine to have hopes for C.J. Daniels, Dean Connors, Jordan Watters, Bill Murray, Wesley Bailey and others who are playing well in the practice games. Maybe there is a gem in this bunch.

But... temper your expectations.

And when the fans absolutely HATE your QB. And when your QB is utterly tone deaf, holds himself accountable for nothing, and disses the fans to boot.... and then he's STILL named the starter?

The Browns ought to jettison immediately, pay the money, and get it over with. Sanders is overrated; but the fans and I suspect the Locker room at least likes him. The best of Watson is long gone. So... Let's make him our QB!! The Browns can never stop being the Browns.

I think Stetson is a decent #2 - there are many that are worse. He does seem to have a lower ceiling as a thrower and while he is mobile to a degree - he is not going to 'kill you with his legs' as they say - hence the need for more accuracy.

I still fee like Garrapalo is the better choice for this season, even if it means losing Bennett. What will Bennett's role be in 2027? Ohio is suddenly a hotbed of NFL dysfunction.

Per multiple reports, 49ers owner Jed York was arrested on Sunday in Ohio.

Per WKBN, York pleaded no contest on Monday morning to two misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and “possessing criminal tools” (here’s the relevant Ohio statute).

York, per the report, was already sentenced to two days in jail (with credit for one day served) and $1,150 in fines.

According to KRON, the prosecution had amended a charge of engaging in prostitution to disorderly conduct.

York presumably will be subject to NFL discipline under the Personal Conduct Policy. I do not think I have ever seen a single Elvis Presley movie! This is one of those things that cannot be true but I read thru every movie he was in and I have no memory of any of them.

THEN... cleaning. I'm not even going to get into that... let's just say some was stored where mice had access. When they stored it all they opened the bags to see what was inside, as if they'd know, then decided there was no need to zipper them closed again.

Just finished up about ½ hour ago. And it's far from spotless but I'm exhausted. It'll pass, if viewed from a distance. :laughing

Rehearsal starts this week.. not sure which day yet. One of the members made our set list... we're figuring a couple sets. 2 hrs. Somewhere between 34-40 songs. Of course he chose all his favorites. :banghead. We'll argue that out at the first rehearsal. :laughing

One of our members wants us to play "Evil Ways' by Santana. ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! You gotta have an entire percussion section in the band to play that song decently.
