DT - Kobie Turner - The Conductor. Rams have showed no confidence in him as far as offering a new contract.
OLB - Myles Garett - Rams gave up a bundle of draft picks and handed him a new $208M five year contract. How could have he earned a Team Captain designation when he only practiced one week before getting injured?
LB - Nate Landman - Got a new $22.5M new 3 year contract because of a peanut punch! Try's hard but limited athletic ability.
CB - Trent McDuffie - New free agent player. Got a new 4 year $124M contract. Was never a team captain at KC.
Safety- Quinton Lake. 3 year $42M new contract. Blue Dot player on defense.
Long Snapper - Joe Cardona. Know nothing about him other than he's been in the league forever. Does that automatically make him a team captain?

All I'm saying is that the Rams handed out new mega $$ contracts to free agents and made them team captains and didn't offer any of their current players who were drafted and have been with the team for the last 3-4 years nothing. Maybe these players that are playing for new contracts have given up and are just trying to get through the season? This to include Puka who I feel deserves to get paid regardless of his off field issues. Without Puka do the Rams even make two deep playoff runs the last two years? Anyways I'm pulling at straws to explain this season. For those complaining about Stafford throwing 50 times a game why not?

PI on a 50 yard pass is a winner. If no call no biggie.

Take a shot. Nothing to lose. People complain about ST. If MS throws a 50 yard bomb and it gets intercepted it is just as good as a punt.

Stafford has been in the league for 18 seasons. Fan boys of MS always blame McVay.

Does it matter if I run Tutu (say he's a 4.3 guy) or Puka (a 4.57 guy) or even Parkinson (4.77 guy) deep to "stretch the defense"?
Doesn't the deep safety still have to respect that receiver, no matter his speed, who is possibly running past him?

We need to rebuild this roster with some SPEED at multiple positions. Especially WR. We might have the slowest team in the NFL.

You would think after the blood clot issues Jalen Hurts had in the UK and the NFL has no blood clot protocol in place yet, the NFL would think twice about traveling that far. But no, he's doubling down and saying it was a success on every level! Why??? Money money money!!!

Penalties are up in the NFL this year, but Commissioner Roger Goodell says that isn’t a reflection on the officials.

Asked about the officiating and the penalty increase, Goodell said the officials are evaluated on whether they make the right calls, not the number of flags they throw.

“Number of fouls can’t be an evaluation of officiating, necessarily,” Goodell said. “Because we don’t commit the fouls, right? The officials are there to call the fouls, when they exist. So I think when you evaluate officiating, you don’t just look at total number of fouls. I think that’s an inappropriate way to approach it.”

Goodell said he believes officiating has improved and the league is continuing to get more calls right.

“We look more deeply at, are they properly called? And I see that every week, sometimes multiple times a week, where we go through the plays that were called and the things we want to change and the approaches we want to make,” Goodell said. “I think the changes made to our officiating, not just with collective bargaining, but in the offseason with personnel, the processes we have on replay, including replay assist, have all been beneficial and have been very positive things. But we continue that effort. We’re always going to continue that effort.”


After Week 4, the NFL suspended line judge Jeff Seeman for two games and referee Adrian Hill for one game for their conduct toward players. Goodell said that was part of the league’s insistence on good sportsmanship from everyone.

“Absolutely, we do want accountability for our officials,” Goodell said. “But we also want respect between the participants. Rams could be looking at players like Brian Thomas Jr or George Pickens if they make a trade per the article.

This exactly why some of us wanted this done since last offseason for the exact reason they are now doing it.

I guess they aren't too confident in the rookie they drafted. I would be ok with a trade. Pickens would look good in broken/neutered horns!!! I am just not sure what they have to offer from a trade stand point. We already gave away all our picks!

That's not going to change. I'll always care about the team's successes and failures, and I'll always try to watch when they play.

But this year, I'm becoming a bit more disinterested. I don't feel like the team has given us, as fans, their best, so I'm not going to expend much in the way of intellectual or emotional energy for the time being.

I'm not interested in evaluating the stats, the lineups, the matchups, or the prospects. I just don't feel the urge to do any of those things now.

I hope the team will turn things around and re-spark my interest. It's not too late yet (though it's getting close). We've seen the team reverse its fortunes in recent years, and I truly hope they will again.

Until then, though, this is about all I have to say.

I'll still be watching and rooting.

Pre - Israel (on the map) is very, VERY ancient ancestry. 20 to 25 thousand years ago. I have a more detailed migration path but won't bore you with it. Most recent countries in my path are France - Germany - Italy. Italy being the most recent and by far the most represented.
