I don't believe teams wait for next years crop of QBs (3 replies)

As some good talking heads have pointed out: a year ago, THIS was supposed to be a good QB draft year. But... as it turns out... the guys they thought would jump up didn't.

Teams who need QBs, need them NOW. Who will be at the top a year from now, especially as concerns those who draft for their teams, is speculating on speculation when they do that. Heck; it's hard enough come draft time to figure out who is going to do well with the current crop because that itself is speculative.

I think this next-year stuff is mostly media and fan talk. The smart and experienced GMs know better than to have this "next year" mentality for something they need today.

Where I'm leading is this: I think Simpson is going somewhere in the first round, maybe even higher than where I think he'll go. I also think that if he is there at 13, the Rams are going to get some calls from a team to move up and get him.... and I think one of the more likely is the Jets. They can use their top pick on a player with the far greater odds to succeed, and then acquire the 13th pick and take a swing with Simpson using their own lower first plus lower round picks. It significantly lowers the risk of choosing a QB and puts much less pressure on Simpson and the Jets FO to get him on the field in a hurry.

Av's 2026 7-Round Rams Mock Draft (17 replies)

In past years, I've always employed a no trade rule to my mock drafts. This year, I'm breaking that rule, in part because of what my gut tells me could happen, and in part because of my desire to find a way to fill all of the Rams' key needs. So, with that...

TRADE: Rams send pick 1(13) and a 2027 4th round pick to Chiefs for picks 1(29), 2(40) and 4(109).

Round 1(29): Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
Boston isn’t the burner that some desire, but he’ll fit our offense extremely well. He breaks tackles like Puka, embarrasses DBs in the Red Zone like Davante, and will quickly gain Stafford’s trust on 50/50 throws. Instant impact at the back of the first round.

Round 2(40): Anthony Hill, Jr., LB, Texas
One of my favorite players in the draft. He is a true playmaker (23.5 TFL, 12 sacks, 3 INTs in past two years) from the LB spot. Teamed up with Nate Landman in the middle, the ILB position would become one of strength.

Round 2(61): Caleb Tiernan, OT, Northwestern
Tiernan has good size (6’8, 323) and experience (43 starts), mostly at LT, with a few starts at RT. He’d provide a nice insurance policy on the OL and could develop into a starter in time.

Round 3(93): Tacario Davis, CB, Washington
His size (6’4, 194) and speed (4.41) jump off the page right away. While he’s not a shutdown man-to-man guy, his speed and length make him a good fit in a zone scheme, and he could also provide depth at FS.

Round 4(109): Darrell Jackson, Jr., DT, Florida State
Jackson would provide some NT depth behind Poona Ford. I’m not quite sold on either of our recent draftees (Tyler Davis, Ty Hamilton), so I’d like to bring in some competition.

Round 6(207): Barion Brown, WR, LSU
Brown would give us two things we don’t currently have. (1) A WR with true deep speed (4.40 at Combine) and (2) a real threat on KR (29.4 yards/return, 6 TDs in college).

Round 7(232): Caden Curry, EDGE, Ohio State
On a star-studded Buckeye defense, Curry lead the team with 11 sacks. The Rams like to rotate pass rushers, so Curry could find a similar role with the Rams.

Round 7(251): Dalton Johnson, S, Arizona
Johnson’s real value would be in kick coverage, an area that needs improvement from last year.

Round 7(252): Logan Taylor, OG, Boston College
Another experienced OL to add to our depth.

I feel pretty certain the Rams are going to get offers for 13 (3 replies)

Listening again to the guys who seem to be legit and have been there for a few years, there is going to be a run on WRs, Edge guys and OTs. The reason: there are 3 WRs that stand above the others... Tate, Lemon, and Tyson if his workout goes well on Thursday. Then 3 more who are probably in the top 25-28 players to be chosen..why? Simply for the need factor. Probably Cooper, Conception, and Boston. Edge guys, 3 maybe 4, and then a noticeable drop off.

Most are still predicting only 2 CB, 1 IOL, 1 TE, 1 RB, and at most 2 ILB in the entire 1st round. So, when you stack it up, WR, OT and CB are going to be coveted. Although, probably 2 and has high as 3 safeties may also go in the 1st round, Downs for sure in the top 10 somewhere.

13 sits at a sweet spot, partly because it won't be horribly unaffordable. There you are likely to get: 1 of the top 3 WRs (assuming Tyson's medicals don't kill him or his workout is suspect), or 1 of the top 3 OTs, or 1 of the top 2 CBs, or the 2nd or 3rd Safety (all top 3 highly rated), or the only 1st round TE. The conjecture seems to be that the #1 IDL won't come off the board until the bottom 10 of the 1st round... just more reasons that WR, Edge and OTs are going to come off the board in waves very early in the 1st round. So, if a team wants one of those, they better jump at a trade up to the 11 - 15 range.

Assuming offers happen, it makes me wonder how Les will weigh them out. He just might demand a 1 next year plus something like a 3rd or 4th this year just to drop 3 or 4 spots. I still think the Jets will be in play to trade up, and I already posted what I think they could offer that makes sense (but not a 1st round next year). On the other hand, the Jets have THREE 1st rounders next year. So, we'll see.

Going to be pretty interesting on draft day #1.

As much talent as the Rams already have, and as much as they are likely to obtain, I can say, in all candor, that I remain GREEDY.

3. I want a talented WR3 (future WR2). I want an upgrade at ILB. I want another CB. Another pass rusher. OL depth. A punt/kick returner. And maybe even a developmental QB.

4. As the Rolling Stones once sang... you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get what you need.

5. Or... screw that! Let's make some trades and get EVERYTHING!

6. Aye, there's the rub... to trade or not to trade.

7. On my FINAL draft board, I've reduced the "above the trade line" list to 7 prospects (Mendoza, Styles, Reese, Love, Bailey, Tate and Downs). Once those guys are gone, I'm listening to trade offers, with a particular interest in a trade that keeps us in Round 1, but adds Day 2 picks this year (not really looking to kick the can down the road again).

8. If I had to list one player who I really want, but might be difficult to obtain with our current picks, its Anthony Hill, Jr. I think he'd instantly and profoundly improve our defense (taking Omar Speights' spot, while reducing Nate Landman's workload).

9. The problem is that Hill probably won't last to pick #61 (if he did, I'd sprint to the podium to select him). If we were to trade back, we might find his sweet spot.

10. Here's my crazy thought, though (or, at least, a thought that I have not seen expressed that many might find crazy): I don't think Hill would be a bad pick at #13. There, I said it.

11. I really appreciate the work of our resident draftniks, particularly Deadpool and Alyo. You guys really do a deep dive, and I find your analysis very helpful.

12. I see CB as a high priority, notwithstanding the trade for Trent McDuffie and the signing of Jaylen Watson. Over the course of a season that hopefully will last 20-21 games, you can't have enough depth and talent at this essential position.

13. I also expect that we'll add another pass rusher. This could be as early as pick 13, if we're drafting from a pure BPA approach (i.e. Reuben Bain may be the best player available at that point).

14. I agree with those who have mentioned Kaden Wetjen and Eli Heidenreich as intriguing Day 3 sleepers (and potential special teams specialists).

15. Some other sleepers I'm keeping an eye on for Day 3: Bryce Boettcher, LB, Oregon; Nadame Tucker, EDGE, Western Michigan; Caden Curry, EDGE, Ohio State; Barion Brown, WR/KR, LSU

16. I don't know if Sean McVay would ever wish to add a RPO, Wildcat or "tush push" element to the offense (it would be tough to ask Matthew Stafford to leave the field), but... if they did, Taylen Green would be an intriguing prospect (poor man's Anthony Richardson). Worth a 6th/7th round pick?

17. Despite injury issues, I've added Jermod McCoy and Jordyn Tyson back on my board.

18. Four guys who are not on my board, perhaps surprisingly, are Akheem Mesidor (injury history, age), Zion Young (fit, off field issue), C.J. Allen (injury, fit) and Caleb Banks (overrated/bust potential). I recognize that I may look silly later if these guys succeed, but, as Dennis Miller used to say, that's just my opinion... I could be wrong.

19. I hope we get more clips of Les and Sean calling the prospects to tell them they're becoming Rams. Always love those.

20. One thing is certain... a very talented roster is about to get even more talented!

2

Shanny is still mad about the Rams making them go to Australia (6 replies)

Link

Disclaimer: Some people seem to get offended by the "lack of support in LA" talk so I want to be clear that I am not taking a shot at any of our loyal "super fans" here on the board.

I know this has been talked about before but Shanny is still mad about the Rams making them go to Australia. It seems the media is agreeing that the Rams asked for the whiners to avoid the "embarrassment" of Sofi being taken over again by the whiner fans.

Is this a "bad look" on the Rams? Are they really trying to avoid the whiner takeover that happens at Sofi every year???

If so, that tells me a lot about how the Rams FO and McVay feel about the "takeovers" at Sofi.

I know how I feel about about it and many others here as well. It's really is kind of "embarrassing" seeing these takeovers happen. We all have hear the "excuses" why and we all know it happens other places too, but when the Rams returned to LA, the mantra was "win and they will come". Well, I think we can honestly say we have been "winning" and have been consistently one of, if not the best teams on the league yet it still happens. There are plenty of fans in LA who do support their team and many of them are right here on this board who would never ever even consider selling tickets to whiner fans or any other team, no matter how high the profit is. Kudos to them for the unquestionable support. We need more fans like that in LA.

It's hilarious knowing that Shanny is p#ssed off about it. Poor whittle whiner babies won't have their usual home field advantage against us twice this year. lol

I think this will cause the rivalry to be even more intense going forward. Could this also cause a "riff" between Sean and Shanny??? Will the whiner fans try even harder to overtake Sofi next year because of this? Things are about to get interesting!

Ranking Positions of Need (21 replies)

We're getting close to the draft now so I'm curious what the consensus is around here on positions of need. My own consideration of this has changed a lot since the Rams went nuclear on CB in FA. Which I am very happy about still by the way. But I figure this is a good time to take a last look prior to our big draft night where we're gonna actually pick. I hope at least. Even if it's after a move down.

So in doing this I am prioritizing by projected roles on the field and in number of snaps.

1. WR3. Rams ran a lot of 12 last season in part because the TE room kicked the WR room's butts in that competition for snaps. They offered hands and great blocking, vs a chunk of depth wideouts that were largely ineffective. Rams WR room was basically 2 deep. So they need that third heat. The third weapon who can add something to the attack. Also we can include Puka concerns and the slot role with his injury history on top of that as well. Are those TEs ready to move the chains if Puka misses many games? And lastly on top of all that we need speed in this offense. Way too much living underneath which you know irritates McVay. It is possible this is two separate needs, those being an X addition and also a depth option behind Puka.

2. ILB. I'm still annoyed they paid Landman. Who by the way took a bit of a nosedive after achieving that security. We still lack speed and tackling in space off ball. And it's a problem vs any running QB we face in particular. Off ball speed is a big need to my eye. Front seven needs wheels behind that DL.

3. NT. Ford did a great job for us last year but the moment he got hurt our DL looked like the same old unit who can be pushed around. We need young beef and that big anchor who can put Ford into the depth rotation and deepen our entire front in the playoffs.

4. Swing OT. We have a hole in our roster at this spot, and the reason it's more important than other depth positions is because it affects the QB. If we lose an OT we're done. I have gone back and forth on this one. It may be higher than 4 on our list. Rams may have it at the top in fact, depending on to what extent they trust their OTs.

5. C. Shelton can be isolated and beaten. This is a problem in the playoffs for the Rams. If he's gonna draw a nose solo he's gonna lose. We need a Center with some gravitas to him, who can remove the ability of a defense to go with a 5 man front and destroy our Center position in pass sets.

6. S. I don't know where they're planning on playing or utilizing Lake this year. Will he be in the pairing? Or will he be our slot and maybe with some matchups slide into a different role. But it feels like we could use a safety with real ball skills for the back end.

7. QB. Not a huge need. Rather a depth type QB who projects well to backup Stafford in this offense. Someone who can be a game manager with some spunk to them to give the team a competitive lift and some mobility if he misses time. There's a couple mid to late who I think fit real nice.

8. Returner. Massive need, but it's teams so have this on the bottom. It's been an issue a long time, but maybe this will be the year they earmark a returner in their depth types they take late.

Deadpool's 2026 Mock Draft 3.0 (final) (14 replies)

I decided 9 years ago I was going to change the way I operated as far as my half assed scouting. I would still do 3 mocks, but it would be post senior bowl, post combine, and pre-draft. The senior bowl answers some questions, like can a D2 player compete with the big guys. How do they handle a pro style offense? How do they interview? The combine can confirm some stuff you think you see or don't see, but the combine is more for the interviews, drug tests and weigh ins.

As with any mock some assumptions have to be made. Here are mine:
1. There will be trades in this draft. There is too big of a hole between the end of round 3 and the end of round 6
2.I'm going on the assumption that Stafford is back.
3. The Rams really filled in all the holes as far as needs. I still thing a WR3, an ILB to compliment Landman, CB depth and OL depth are needs, as is any position that helps STs.

The trade:
Rams Trade with the Lions.
Rams receive: 1-17, 4-118, 4-128, 5-157
Lions receive: 1-13, 7-251 and a 2027 day 3 pick.
Why do the Rams make this trade: Because Less Need hates large gaps between draft picks, and there is over 100 picks between round 3 and the end of round 6. This move gives the Rams picks in rounds: 1,2,3,4,4,5,6,7,7,7. That is more than enough for Less to trade around and do his thing. Also, maybe Tate and Lemon are gone, they don't like Tyson's medicals, so they don't reach and trade back.

Why do the Lions make this trade: They lost their starting LT when they let go of Taylor Decker. The Lions believe they are on the cust of a SB, but have no LT. The only LT that makes sense is Monroe Freeling. So in order to keep a team like Cleveland from getting him, the Lions move up, giving up only a couple of 4th and a 5th to move 4 spots.

1.17 Omar Cooper Jr. - WR- Indiana - 6'-0" 199 lbs. - He has experience in the slot and outside, is a good blocker in the run game and is a brute after the catch. Those vibes give off Kupp and Nacua qualities. Except Cooper has 4.42 speed. He can win on all 3 levels. 20 TDs in 2 years tells me he has a nose for the endzone.

Previous Pick (2.0): 1.13 Kenyon Sediq - TE- Oregon - 6'-3" 241 lbs. - I know what you all are thinking? Oh heck no. Just hear me out. With the Rams going more into 3 TE sets, the Rams are using alot less 3 WR sets. And with Higbee's uncertain future, you have Parkinson, Ferguson and Davis Allen, Allen is OK, but Sediq is a freak of nature. I think you could legit use him as a WR in 11 personnel as well. He's one of, if not the best blocking TEs in the draft as well. And we know the Rams wanted Bowers, and we know the Rams like Oregon TEs, they said as much. He is a nightmare on an offense with a ton of nightmares. Go get a WR later, knowing that next years WR class is stacked to the ceiling. I also think Delane is gone, McCoy has medicals and no other CB is worth 13. I am also assuming Tate is gone and Tyson has medicals. So with that said, its Sediq, Lemon or a trade down to get picks and better value. Since I'm not doing trades, lets go Sediq. Plus I am curious if heads explode lol. On Sediq himself, his film last year was better, so if you are looking at him, look at his whole body of work. But he is a size/speed matchup nightmare, he is a plus blocker, smooth route runner with strong hands and excellent after the catch. Megatron was 6'-5" 239 lbs and ran a 4.4 flat at the combine, Sediq is 6'-3" 241 lbs and ran a 4.39...Both are complete units.

Previous pick (1.0): Makai Lemon - WR - USC - 5'-11" 195 lbs. - Advanced route runner that specializes in creating separation. Knows where to find the soft spots in zone and dangerous with the ball in his hands. Tough and willing blocker in the run game. A dynamic weapon McVay will absolutely love. 4 drops on 170 targets throughout his college career...wow. I am still not sure on the fit with Lemon.

Who else makes sense:
Obviously Sadiq and Lemon make sense. If the Rams do trade down, Denzel Boston makes a lot of sense. Aveion Terrell as CB3 makes some sense. You also have a ton of OL, Caleb Lomu, Max Iheanachor, Blake Miller all fit the bill. Spencer Fano makes a bit of sense. I think both SAF would work as well, Thieneman and McNeil-Warren. Maybe a pass rusher like Mesidor.

2.61 Jake Golday - LB- Cincinnati - 6'-4" 239 lbs. - He slides into the spot next to Landman at some point while contributing on STs immediately. He has sideline to sideline to range, looks good dropping into zone coverage and can blitz from the middle or off the edge. He is patient, reads his keys and doesn't usually get caught out of position.

Previous Pick (2.0): Gennings Dunker - OL - Iowa - 6'-5" 319 lbs. - Forget the mullett, well, don't forget it. Just dive deeper, he was a stud at the Senior Bowl, looked good not amazing in drills at the combine. He is RT/OG at the next level. Arms a tad under the 34" threshold for OTs, but as a depth piece super sub and eventual starter, he fits what the Rams want, an absolute mauler that is looking to finish you and then flex over top of you. He is nasty as all get out. Iowa OL are always rock solid.

Previous Pick (1.0): Isaiah World - OT - Oregon - 6'-8" 318 lbs.- A mauler that needs technical refinement, but his size and athleticism can't be taught and has a finishers mentality.

Who else makes sense:
If the Rams don't go WR in round 1, Malachi Fields is a long X WR the Rams have been looking for. Skyler Bell has a lot of Omar Cooper Jr to his game, so he would work. Germie Bernard is also an intriguing fit. EDGEs like Malachi Lawrence and Derrick Moore work in the Shula system. CB3s like Keionte Scott and Davison Igbinosun would work.

I really wanted the Rams to end up with one of Chris Johnson, D'Angelo Ponds, J-Rod or Anthony Hill Jr., but in order to get one of those, it would take some trading up IMO.

3.93 Treydan Stukes – SAF – Arizona - 6’-1” 190 lbs. – Film junkie walk-on turned team captain. Fluid and fast, can play in the nickel or as a FS, split of single high. A tad lacking in the run defense department. He can literally play anywhere in the secondary witch makes him a very nice depth piece for the Rams. They will love his mental makeup as well as his on-field ability.

Previous pick (2.0): Ted Hurst - WR - Georgia St. - 6'-4" 206 lbs. - A long, fast X WR that showed out at the Senior Bowl, then wowed at the combine, he has an advanced release package and amazing hands. There could be some growing pains early, but he looks like a field stretching fit with size that the Rams currently do not have. He needs to play more physical, but Coach Woods and Puka will teach him that for sure.

Previous Pick: Bud Clark - SAF - TCU - 6'-1" 185 lbs.- He's a ballhawking SAF that just makes plays on the ball in zone coverage. Needs to get stronger/bigger for the NFL, but he is a sure tackler. A 3 time captain and was in the Senior Bowl. In short, a Rams type of guy.

Who else makes sense:

LB Kyle Lewis as a cover LBer with STs ability would be a nice fit here.
Romello Height is a smaller EDGE that is an absolute speed demon that would add some juice to the Rams pass rush.
Lance Bryce a long, playmaking WR from NDSU that plays the X. Josh Cameron a beefy WR that plays alot like Puka as far as physical toughness and strong hands with only 1 drop last season. Punter returner as well.
Darrell Jackson a run stuffer DT from FSU would look good in the middle of the Rams DL. Domonique Orange is a run stuffer that further locks up the interior run defense.
OCs like Lew, Hecht and Jones could be in play here.
Edge Keyron Crawford is an Auburn edge with a ton of upside. He is probably on the Rams radar.
Austin Barber OT from Florida is a nice swing OT that would add nice depth with starting upside down the road.
Sam Roush is a big inline TE that can actually block and works the intermediate part of the field well.

4.118 Dametrious Crownover – OT – Texas A&M – 6’-7” 319 lbs. – Great size, good athlete, former TE, so a bit raw technique-wise. Needs to get stronger. Developmental type prospect. This might be a bit of a reach, but knowing the Rams, they could move back a touch and still land him. He has the size, length and athletic traits that translate really well to the next level. A RT with 1 LT start, he could be a really nice swing tackle with starter upside after a year.

4.128 Landon Robinson – DL – Navy – 5’-11” 293 lbs. – Quick, strong and under-sized. Reminds me of someone. Won’t be out-leveraged or out-worked. Size can work against him against the run. he is a culture fit and can work up and down the line as a nice depth piece. He's a team captain and AAC def. player of the year.

Who else makes sense:
Charles Demmings- a smaller school CB with excellent size, he crushed it at the Senior Bowl. Ephesians Prysock and Julian Neal are also nice fits at CB.
QBs Taylen Green and Cole Payton are in this range if you want a pure upside QB.
OTs JC Davis and Trey Zuhn III also work, but for different reasons. Davis is a swing tackle, Zuhn is moving inside, so he has interior super sub upside with OC starter ability in a year.
LB Bryce Boettcher would be a really nice ST and LBer depth piece.

5.157 Mason Reiger – EDGE – Wisconsin – 6’-5” 251 lbs. – Explosive pocket collapser with a nice array of pass rush moves. Needs to get stronger for run defense. His motor and work ethic are top tier and he has the frame to carry 10 more lbs. easily to become an all-around 34 EDGE. He even reduced inside on some passing downs.

6.207 J. Michael Sturdivant – WR – Florida – 6’-3” 207 lbs. – Size/speed/athletic traits that wins deep, contested situations and over the middle. Poor route runner and lacks production for his profile. The Rams seem to be speaking to every big WR in the draft, so I am convinced the Rams walk away from the draft with a 6'-2" plus WR. Sturdivant is a Big, long fast deep threat that needs to learn how to be a professional route runner.

Previous pick (2.0) Ephesians Prysock - CB - Washington - 6'-3" 196 lbs. - A long zone CB that has plenty of upside, he could replace Witherspoon as the Rams bigger CB. He tested really well at the combine, and was solid at the Senior Bowl. Not a bad option for a CB 4 or 5 depending on free agency.

Previous Pick (1.0): Desmond Reid - RB - Pitt. - 5'-8" 175 lbs. - Undersized, but lightning quick and sub 4.4 speed. Is an excellent pass catcher and an electrifying return man. His size is what holds him back. He can line up anywhere and is a HR threat. WR, RB, Return man.

7.232 Micah Morris – OG – Georgia – 6’-5” 334 lbs. – Absolute powerhouse in a mountain of a frame. Surprisingly athletic. Plays way too upright to put it all together. The Rams need some depth along the interior line and Morris is a beast. He has played both LG and RG, so that is a serious plus for a guy trying to make the roster. He is in serious need of technical refinement, but you cannot teach his size, power and athleticism.

Previous pick (2.0) Cole Wisniewski - SAF - Texas Tech - 6'-3" 214 lbs. - He was a stat stuffer at SAF for NDSU that transferred to Texas Tech and played very well. He's better around the LoS as a run enforcer and coverage, but has the range to play in a split SAF look as well. Rams could use some SS depth with the impending loss of Curl. He fits the bill to a T.

Previous Pick (1.0): Patrick Payton - EDGE - LSU - 6'-6" 255 lbs. - a long, bendy, high motor edge rusher that has a non-stop motor and is excellent in backside pursuit. He lacked sack production this year, his get off isn't exactly explosive. Can play up or down. Nice developmental piece.

7.252 Andre Fuller – CB – Toledo – 6’-1” 200 lbs. – Good size and length for a zone scheme, solid tackler. Lacks the speed to stick tight in man coverage deep. Shrine Bowl only. Rams need at least in their secondary as of right now. Fuller along with Stukes is a pretty solid combo. Fuller can be brought along slowly as a CB4/5 type with CB3 upside.

Previous pick (2.0) - Xavian Sorey Jr. - ILB - Arkansas - 6'-3" 225 lbs. - Ultra athletic and excellent in coverage. Goes sideline to sideline with ease and has plenty of ST upside. A STer and a LBer that can cover TEs and RBs is just what the Rams need.

As you can see, I set out to do 3 things here:
1. Improve the secondary, esp. the CB room. I added a CB and a safety/nickel/CB.
2. Fix the STs. I think I accomplished that. No dynamic returners, but players that work coverage and return units.
3. Add some speed and playmaking ability to the offense. They have route runners, they have size and toughness, they lack HR ability and danger in the open field, I think I fixed some of that with Cooper Jr and Studivant.
4. I filled the weakest link on defense with Golday moving next to Landman.
5. I added 2 OL, both with left/right flexibility. With 4/5 of the OL FAs after the season, they need developmental pieces. I added that.
6. I added a penetrating DL and an EDGE that can get bigger and stronger while still giving the team a pass rush boost.

What I missed on:
A run stuffer NT. There were options at pick 29 and the 2nd and 3rd rounds, but I bypassed them to accomplish my 3 goals. Kayden McDonald and Lee Hunter at the end of round 1 work well, but I just don't value run stuffers in round one, unless they are elite talents and have some pass rush juice. Domonique Orange at the end of round 2 would be another name.

I really wanted an OC. Conner Lew from Auburn will need a redshirt, but he's a rock solid fit in the Rams scheme. Jake Slaughter from Florida somewhere in day 2 fits. Logan Jones would be the target at OC for me in round 4. I just love Iowa OL and he's pretty rock solid at 6'-4" 303 lbs., but needs to get stronger.

No TE, QB or RB this go around. I just always had a better option when I picked. I think a TE is absolutely a possibility, esp. in rounds 1 or 2 (Sadiq or Stowers)

Anyhow, thanks for reading, questions, comments and thoughts are always welcome.

Av's FINAL 2026 Rams Draft Board (Top 60 + TRADE LINE) (3 replies)

Here's my final list for the Rams.

I've pivoted in favor of defense at the top of the board.
