If the Rams win the Super Bowl this year, however, I would argue that 2023 would become the team's greatest draft class.

Without a first round pick, the Rams obtained quality starters at six positions:

OG: Steve Avila (2:36)
EDGE: Byron Young (3:77)
DL: Kobe Turner (3:89)
RT: Warren McClendon (5:174)
WR: Puka Nacua (5:177)
P: Ethan Evans (7:223)

Add to that two useful reserve players: Davis Allen (5:175) and Desjuan Johnson (7:259).

Young is a Pro Bowl player.

Puka is a Top 5 player at his position.

Rice violated his parole, and now is being sent to jail for a month.
Hard to imagine the NFL won't be suspending him a few more games.
Even harder to imagine that the Chiefs don't move on from him. Seems they have the Jerry Jones syndrome of occasionally picking players who are on the edge of being troubled guys, because they are really good players .

Not the end of the world, but he's been a big part of their offense. The Los Angeles Rams are fortunate to have two elite wide receivers, Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, as two of their three starters. The third starter, as of now, however, is most likely the lesser-known Jordan Whittington, a former sixth-round pick who had just 171 yards receiving a season ago.

With that in mind, it makes sense that L.A. could be looking to upgrade that WR3 spot. Could Brian Thomas Jr. potentially be someone who could fill that spot? According to ESPN NFL analyst Dan Graziano, Thomas could be on the move before training camp. While he didn't link the Rams directly, they could make perfect sense as a landing spot for the Jaguars star.

"Teams are still calling the (JacksonvilleJaguars about Brian Thomas Jr," Graziano said on Unsportsmanlike. "So far they've said no. But that's certainly a guy to watch."

Now, again, the Rams have not been directly linked to a Thomas trade. Still, with the smoldering NFL rumors, he's getting buzz from other teams. So, why not imagine a world where this could happen? Veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford would love to have Adams, Nacua, and Thomas at his disposal. Furthermore, it truly feels like the Rams offense would be unstoppable if they fielded this trio of wide receivers.

Thomas is a former first-round pick out of LSU by the Jaguars in 2024. He exploded onto the scene as a rookie, tallying nearly 1,300 receiving yards and finding the end zone 10 times. His sophomore season wasn't as special, as he had over 700 yards receiving and scored two touchdowns but he missed three games.

Thomas was rumored to be on the trade block last season but the Jaguars held onto him and appear to be determined to do so again now. If there's a chance he could be traded, Los Angeles bringing him into this offense to catch passes from Stafford would unlock an absolute cheat code. After the success of adding Davonte Adams, why not?

The Rams don't have many weaknesses on their roster, and adding someone like Thomas would only make them stronger. Hopefully, the Jaguars change their minds about shipping him off, and if he is available, the Rams should absolutely throw their hat into the ring. It could be the difference between winning the Super Bowl and watching the game from home yet again.

Hopefully, Harrison Mevis is the answer at PK. I thought Josh Karty was a year ago, but he developed an untimely case of the "yips."

Ethan Evans is not a bad punter, but I don't know that he should have an iron grip on his job.

Then there's the return specialists. Surely, the plan can't be to just plug Jordan Whittington, Ronnie Rivers and Xavier Smith back into their roles. There must be a better plan than that, right?

Best team fit: Los Angeles Rams

The Ravens could be a fit here for Diggs, but I really like him in L.A. alongside Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. The Rams attempted 430 passes out of 11 personnel last season (ninth most in the league), and Diggs is a natural separator who can line up inside or outside. Plus, he has the toughness to work the middle of the field on in-breaking concepts, a key element of coach Sean McVay's offense.

Diggs had 85 receptions last season for the Patriots, which was almost twice as many as their next-closest wide receiver (Mack Hollins with 46). He would provide an easy boost to the WR room for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

I'm not so sure he's a good locker room fit. 5 teams got new uniforms this year , but the Rams rookies , Ty Simpson and Max Klare were the only ones still wearing their teams old uniforms

looks like the Rams are still muffing their new uniforms reveal.....................lol

The Rams did make a statement that they had nothing to do with this , and that this event is put on by the NFL and Fanatics , and that Fanatics did have the Rams new uniforms , but they have no idea what happened

I believe these are for rookie trading cards , so if you collect a Ty Simpson rookie trading card he'll be wearing a uniform he'll never actually wear.............lol

On October 26, 2022, the pick that selected Chicago Bears wide receiver Tyler Scott was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles for veteran defensive end Robert Quinn.

Ironically, Scott is now fighting for a roster spot and playing time on the Los Angeles Rams roster, the original home for Quinn. And almost every fan has forgotten he plays for LA

Tyler Scott did not arrive to much fanfare. He was an under-the-radar signing in 2025 after his release by the Seattle Seahawks. He remained on the practice squad throughout the remainder of the season. He was undoubtedly too unfamiliar with the offense to contribute instantly. But he did come back for Round 2 in 2026.

That's where this all gets interesting.

Tyler Scott could be the unexpected solution to Rams WR problem

Despite two elite starting wide receivers, there is an intense debate among fans over who might claim the third wide receiver role in 2026. There are many players in the running, and that should include Scott. After all, on NFL experience alone, he is among the frontrunners. He arrived too late to carve out a niche role in 2025.

But he has plenty of time to do so in 2026.

Los Angeles had some success with veteran wide receiver Tyler Johnson, who joined the team in 2023, but contributed more fervently in 2024. That could prove to be a blueprint for Scott, who may earn a niche role in the offense this season.

While not all players pan out, LA does not sign multiple veterans to the team in the hopes that one or two might work. They have a specific role for each roster addition, and only add players who have been thoroughly vetted for that role. Tyler Scott never had a chance to compete for that role in 2025.

They’re unwatchable. Yet, many people in LA rather watch the Raiders than the Rams. You have a great team in your city, with a HOF coach and QB, but you’re stuck in the 80's.

1. Where would you suggest we stay (i.e. Phoenix, Glendale, etc.)?

3. After the Rams win on Sunday, are you able to get out of the stadium and back to the airport in a reasonable amount of time for the flight home...or would it be best to wait until Monday?

I kinda know the answers for the Las Vegas game, but a road trip to AZ would be new for us.
