QuoteOld Goat QuoteMamaRAMa Soooooo.... nothing's changed?? If so, that doesn't do much for MY vote of confidence in McVay's mental stability going forward or in appeasing my fear that we fans could find ourselves here yet again next January. Road grader olinemen is the pendulum swing from where I’m seeing it. Defenses have invested in stopping spread offenses, so we’re seeing six men in the box a lot. They way to make defenses pay for that literal downsizing is to run heavy. Then it becomes a war of roster attrition. I never thought about that till this year. It was clear early in the season that McVay had no answer to floodiby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlramz QuoteEkern55 A book by Doris Kearns Goodwin on Abraham Lincoln’s cabinet. It was filled with Democrats and Republicans and everything in between. Quoteden-the-coach Again I truly want McVay to consider giving up the sticks and passing it along to Frank Reich. McVay puts too much pressure on himself, if he hires Reich and allows Reich to call plays, this will in turn decrease the stress level, still being heavily involved in the scheme, but allowing someone else to take over calling the plays. KIngsbury could handle this too, but I'd rathby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

Draft one or play Hopkins more. I don’t know what to say. Seems so easy to keep drives alive. TEs can be bullies and having someone like Holohan, or Brent Jones or Jason Witten can make a QBs life so much more easy.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRampage2K- that's what scout teams are for....the Rams offense doesn't practice against our defense and our defense doesn't practice against our offense. they run scout teams to best mimic the offense and defense we will be playing that week True, RP2K, but if the team’s overall offensive philosophy is at one end of the spectrum and their next opponent is on that opposite end of the speby Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

Well, Rams have got to win their division. Niners aren’t the only problem. The Seahawks have all sorts of draft capital so if they pick one of the stud defensive linemen out of a Clemson or Georgia, that’s going to be a problem. The Rams need to stop trying to stop gap OLT. That’s where their offense is breaking down. They have some good options there, but they need an elite guy there.by Ekern55 - RamsFootballFans.com

Never heard of Stroud and he didn’t seem 6’10” with how fluid his strides were. Then you seen him surrounded by DBs a foot shorter. The Rams had a defensive lineman in the late 70s and his last name was Murphy. (Can’t remember his first name.). I think he was #95. He didn’t get a lot of snaps. He was a bit slow and a plodder.
