Watch Cooks Film Review It was asserted that with Sammy the Rams had trouble carrying the safety. Baldy totally debunked that notion. Thanks for posting RB, good stuff.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com

That he is going to concentrate on putting a good product on the field and let the contract situation take care of itself. Nothing wrong with ESPN's headline from my view.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadpool never going to sign him regardless of how much he wanted, because they were/are happy with Hogan and Edelman and Mitchell. All 3 were injured during the 2017 season. I didn't see the word yearly average in reference to the Pats at all, did you? What I did see is a list of wr's that showed their avg salary and a question of where Cooks fit.which had nothing to do with the Pats.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRamUK It wasn't that you made a *mistake*, indeed we don't even know that. It was you denied it. But anyway, the MO I was referring to was lack of due diligence, I guess. If Cooks walks and they get maybe a 3rd round comp pick back, then I was wrong and it would appear they didn't do proper due diligence. I stand corrected. QuoteDeadpool If I'm Cooks, and I am as "self confident" as he is, and as durable as he has been in the past, I'm banking on FA. I get the whole long term safety net that comes with a new deal. But he doesn't miss games and practices, so why not get to FA and be a really big fish in a small pond? QuoteSpeed_Kills if you keep this up It would be irresponsible for the Rams to have traded for this guy and not have something worked out/planned to extend him The guy can ball and should flourish in McVay's system with all these other weapons. QuoteRamUK If they traded for him with zero commitment on his behalf, then that appears negligent. However, that doesn't seem like their MO and I *thought* your concern was he's a Smurf. James Lofton disagrees. Well I *never* used the word smurf...however he IS small and not what I would want as a #1 receiver. I have several concerns, including but not limited to size. That should be everybody's concern! This is a dude the Rams gave up a 1st for who is on the last year of his deal and thinks a LOT of himself. Can they afford to resign him at $14-$16M per? Should they? I certainly hope they had a handshake deal in place with him before they traded for him. Otherwise there could be trouble.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteL.A. did have a couple of key departures: Ogletree and wideout Sammy Watkins. GM Les Snead filled the receiver void with a trade for Brandin Cooks on Tuesday, but with the young speedster currently only under contract for one year, the pressure is only increased by the move. QuoteDeadpool Some reporter came on (sorry missed his name, working on draft stuff, maybe Wyche,) but he came out and said the Rams are trying to maximize their window while they have a pro bowl QB under cheap control.
