that is my opinion. He should have made Reynolds irrelevant by now. Sure, maybe the fact that he supposedly separates like Kupp and has similar skill set that has hurt his development, but I would think if he were that talented, McVay would scheme up ways to have Kupp and Jefferson on the field at same time. If they both excel at the same thing, then why did we draft him, or extend Kupp? Everby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
when they get healthy, and rid themselves of Lynn, they will be a good team. And Herbert looks like he will be a stud for next decade.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
if you were going to play him, I would not let this thigh issue change your plans. I'm playing him over Dionte Johnson.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
and fairly easily replaceable. I like the guy, but would never going overboard trying to keep him.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Jones and Cleveland have terrific potential wherever they end up on the O Line. Id rather have either of them over Akers, just my opinion.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I think AJ is a good player and was supposed to go in the 1st rd and they got great value with him. Z Moss has underperformed, but its too early to judge him. Gabriel Davis has a TD in 3 straight games and was drafted in the 4th rd. Maybe compare that to Van Jefferson and check their ages as well. Im not saying it was a flashy A draft, but they let the draft come to them and got some solid valueby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
the o line has over performed, and I'm thrilled about that, but I still do not think Noteboom is any kind of long term answer. Blythe, Corbett and Havenstein have all played well. I still would have preferred a guy like Ezra Cleveland or J Jones instead of Akers or Jefferson, but who knows?by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com

whether playoffs "should" take place is another matter. But when Dez Bryant tests positive minutes before a game, and was clearly seen interacting with other players, yet the NFL took no precautionary measures, it is clear the NFL will power on blindly. Then they will congratulate themselves about what a great job they are doing. Having said all that, NFL should follow lead of NHL aby spagsbacker - Bucky's Pub

never thought much of him...by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I stand by my opinion that he was slightly better than his usual self. I don't really think that Goff is a SB QB, but anythings possible I guess. When you listen to non Ram fans watch Goff objectively, they are rarely (if ever) impressed. I think that is a fair measurement of him as a QB.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff was his usual self...maybe a bit better. Maybe we can win with him though.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
these uniforms suck. one yellow stripe is awful. horn is ugly. I'm not sure how you screw this up so bad with such awesome potential. fading color of numbers is total bush league. failby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
and when the Rams can do that, I'm sure they will. My point however is that when teams successfully stop our running game, I'm skeptical that Goff will be able to step up and deliver. The Rams were blowing open holes last night from the first run of the game. You would have to be crazy to not do that for as long as possible. NE simply did not have the talent to stop our run. That will not alwaysby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Im not trying to be a downer. Akers looked very good, and the O Line also excelled, and a tip of the hat to blocking TE's and WR's. Our D is very good. But, I have been watching the Pats every week as I had Cam on my fantasy team, and it was very apparent that he was washed up before seeing the game last night. I was super confident that he would not be able to lead the team downfield against ourby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com

stop the run, make Cam pass. Whichever QB can make D play honest will win. I think its the Rams, as Cam has totally lost it.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Brady, Montana, Bradshaw, Favre, Staubach...these are QBs of dynasties. Goff is a bottom tier QB. You can deny it all you want, and I understand this makes your post more or less useless, but seems to be an exercise you want to go through, which is fine. This team definitely has some great pieces (Donald & Ramsey in particular) but if part of being a Dynasty involves winning championships, whby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com

I love football, and looking forward to tonights game, but the NFL approach to Covid-19 is absurd at best.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
its really that simple. You cannot praise Goff because of these statistics. We have gone over this a million times, when Goff is well protected, he can be a successful QB in the league. However, when pressured at all, he makes game killing mistakes, and is easily flustered. You cannot beat good/great teams with this kind of achilles heal.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Reagor might be ok, but Jefferson is a star, and pretty much everyone knew he was the superior talent. Teams get a bit crazy overthinking schemes and what not and thinking player a is better for them than player b due to scheme, despite the obvious talent.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
talk about what a "story" they are or how they have turned their lives around and are now such great guys. Collinsworth gushing about Aldon Smith the other night was laughable.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
not Goff. You can win with McVay, not sure we can win with Goff. Granted, we almost won the Super Bowl miraculously with him, but that was an outlier, won't happen again, plus he pretty much self destructed that game.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I understand there is usually some consideration for need, but Rams seem to overemphasize this to a detriment imo. Sometimes you just take the best player who drops in your lap. See Aaron Donald.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
if you just draft good football players you don't need to worry so much about whose contract expires in what year. You just build a deep roster by drafting good players. See Baltimore for the ultimate blueprint. By calculating who hits free agency when, you end up drafting mediocre players because you reach during the draft for guys like Everett, Noteboom, and Brian Allen.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
